Virtual Astronomy Night

Join our expert astronomer for an online tour of stars and constellations.

Program date:
Thursday, October 7 at 7 p.m. Eastern.

Join our expert astronomer, Nick, for an awesome educational experience online. Each show will teach you how to find some key stars, constellations, and astronomical objects that are visible that night. You'll also hear constellation stories from mythology and sometimes even news from current events in astronomy! This program is one hour and takes place on Zoom.

Unsure how to feel about a Zoom presentation? We hear you. Here’s what one visitor had to say about the online format of this program: “I was super excited about possibly being outside to learn about the stars but wasn’t sure about how it would be presented online. It was fantastic. We were able to view the constellations along with Nick’s mythological stories associated with the stars.” Stellarium, the virtual planetarium software Nick uses, alongside his expertise is the best!
