About Gore Place
Gore Place is an independent nonprofit and a unique community resource. Our property provides visitors with 50 acres of open green space and is free to visit from dawn to dusk. We preserve, research, and interpret multiple historic buildings, including an 1806 Mansion and a 1793 Carriage House. The Farm at Gore Place raises a rare heritage breed of sheep - Leicester Longwools - in addition to growing crops and interpreting the agricultural traditions and landscape of the original estate.
