Love Valentine's Day or hate it? Either way, we’ve got the fun night in for you. Join Gore Place for a virtual wine tasting with the Urban Grape of Boston’s South End. During this special event, enjoy three wines selected by the Urban Grape’s expert wine educators, and learn about wine history while you hear romantic readings by famous writers like Jane Austen. Participants must be age 21 or older. Advance tickets required. Register by January 22.
How does a virtual wine tasting work?
Prior to the event, the Urban Grape will ship to you three bottles of wine chosen just for our event. Register by January 22 at 12 noon to join the event and receive the shipment. Then, on the night of the event, join us on Zoom for a fun wine tasting, whether you like Valentine’s Day or not!
Your wine tasting shipment includes:
Three European Classics (one bottle each)
- 2018 Baglio Delle Fate Grillo (Sicily, Italy)
- 2018 Delas Freres "Saint Esprit" Cotes du Rhone (Rhone Valley, France)
- 2017 Honoro Vera Monastrell (Jumilla, Spain)

- Saturday, February 13 at 8:30 pm ET (this event lasts one hour)
- Virtual event on Zoom
- $150 per household (includes a $50 tax-deductible contribution to Gore Place)
- Shipping is included in the registration fee
- Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by IRS regulations
- Participants must be age 21 or older

Wine shipping policy and restrictions:
The Urban Grape will ship the wine directly to each household prior to the event. Deliveries must be received by someone in the household who is age 21 or older. Recipients must present identification to prove age upon receipt of the wine delivery.
The Urban Grape cannot deliver to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virgina, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
