Saturday Family Time: Tapping Maple Trees
February 18 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
It’s sugar maple tapping season and Gore Place is going to be tapping our sugar maple trees this year! Come join the farmer and educators as we walk around Gore Place to tap our sugar maples. This program will begin in the Carriage House for an educational portion to learn about trees, tapping, and making maple syrup. You will also be given a sample of maple syrup from a local tapping farm and maple sugar candies!
This program is recommended for children ages 2-12. Reservations are required.
This program takes place partially outside so bundle up and wear warm clothes! We will meet in the Carriage House. Click or tap this link to read our COVID-19 safety and mask policy.
