Jane Austen Holiday Tea
Sunday, December 14, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Come celebrate the season and the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birthday with an afternoon tea at Gore Place. While sitting in our beautiful 1806 Mansion, guests will enjoy a three-tiered tea service provided by Vintage Tea & Cake Co. as well as plenty of tea!
Pianist Donna Chaff will add to the festive mood, playing holiday and Regency era tunes. Conclude your visit with a tour of the Mansion to view the seasonal decorations, including our famous Tea Cup Christmas tree.
Seating is family-style at tables of eight guests. Multiple smaller groups will be seated at a single table, but you should have plenty in common to talk about with your shared love of tea and Austen.
Tickets must be purchased by December 7.
This program is designed for adults and older teens. Please, no guests under 12 years old.
