Jane Austen Evening Tour

Enjoy a moonlight tour of the Gore Mansion. A perfect date night!

Candles light the walkway up to the Mansion.

Friday, August 12 at 7 p.m.

On this guided tour of the 1806 Gore mansion, you'll marvel at the graceful curve of the Great Stairs, the lovely Oval Withdrawing Room, Office, the Peacock Parlor, and the Great Hall. Along the way, your guide will use the words of the author Jane Austen to describe life in an early 19th-century country estate. The style and quality of the furnishings, the many Boston-built pieces, and the personal touches make this one of the great New England house tours.
