Mansion Tour of Gore Place

Tour the 1806 Gore Mansion on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Cost: $16 general admission, Gore Place Members free, $11 ages 6-16.

Babywearing Tours

May 8, 2024 | 10:00 am

Come to our special babywearing tour led by our Family Educator. We’ll see our gorgeous 1806 Mansion, and we won’t mind if your baby sleeps – or cries – through our tour!

Cost: $16 per caregiver. Free to members.

Traditional Crafts Workshop

May 11, 2024 | 1:00 pm

Try your hands at three different traditional crafts in a unique and beautiful historic setting! This month we will be soap felting, paper making, and straw plaiting.

Cost: $25 per adult, $18 per child (ages 3-12), , $11 per Gore Place member, $11 Card to Culture, FREE for Children 2 and UNDER

Moonlight Visit: Jane Austen's World

May 31, 2024 | 7:00 pm

Join a guide dressed in period clothing for a Moonlight Visit to the 1806 mansion at Gore Place in Waltham, inspired by Regency author Jane Austen.

Cost: $21 general admission, $19 members, $16 students

Gore Place, the historic house museum and farm in Waltham and Watertown, Massachusetts, today announced the selection of Gavin Kleespies as its next Executive Director, effective January 2, 2024.

Gore Place Executive Director to Retire in December

Gore Place announced today that Executive Director Susan Robertson will retire in December after 37 years at Gore Place, making her the longest-serving Director since Gore Place was founded in 1935.
