The Farm at Gore Place – Volunteer Team
We are a working farm with a farmstand that serves as a resource for the community through sustainably grown crops and education programs. We are committed to providing an educational and fun experience for all Volunteers. Farm Volunteers may participate throughout the full season or just parts of a season.
We try to accommodate different levels of involvement. We have choices ranging from an occasional hour or two, to opportunities forregular participation.
In the Greenhouse:
We are looking for drop-in volunteers from March-May. START NOW!!
Volunteering is available most days now in the greenhouse to plant seeds, pot seedlings and prepare for the Annual Spring Plant and Heirloom Vegetable Sale in May. The greenhouse is small and can accommodate 1-3 volunteers at a time.

Office Volunteer Opportunity
Do you like old houses? Are you detail-oriented, friendly and flexible? Gore Place is looking for a volunteer to join the Development Team. We’re seeking a volunteer to assist with a variety of office and fundraising-related tasks. Duties could include help with mailings and membership materials, event specific support, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed. More opportunities available dependent on interest and skill level.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), design, web development and/or marketing experience helpful.
Preferred Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week.
