Gore Place is the Federal Period historic house and estate of Christopher and Rebecca Gore. The 50-acre estate includes an 18th century carriage house, a 19th century mansion, and small farm that serves as a unique resource for teaching about life in early 19th century America. A National Historic Landmark, the museum serves audiences of all ages through tours, exhibitions, and educational programs. The farm is a place for visitors to participate in farm work and learn about the value of agriculture from past to present.
