A December Evening
Thursday, December 11, 6:00 pm

The annual member's party is the holiday party in Boston! This year's event will offer hors d’oeuvres by Cuisine Chez Vous, music by the David Newsam Trio, a Holiday Boutique, and great company! The theme for this season is food in the early 19th century and several rooms will feature beautiful displays of period food.

Santa Teas
Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 am, 1:00 and 3:30 pm; Sunday, December 14 at 1:00 and 3:30 pm and Saturday, December 20 at 10:00 am

Children and adults will enjoy a traditional tea of scones, sandwiches, and sweets, do a crafts activity, and have a visit from Santa with songs and stories. this event has become a tradition with many families and seatings are often soldout. Seating is communal-style at tables of up to 8.

Tickets must be purchased at least one week prior to your tea. Tickets are $35 per person all ages, $30 members. To order, call: (781) 894-2798.

A Candlelight and Holly Evening
Tuesday, December 16, 7:30 pm

Enjoy great music and holiday refreshments and sing-along to holiday favorites in the beautiful surroundings of the 1806 mansion at Gore Place. The theme for this season is food in the early 19th century and several rooms will feature beautiful displays of period food.

Pianist Katherine Sipolt will lead the songs in the parlor whilefiddler Eden Forman and guitarist/banjoist Lukas Pool will fill the Servant's Hall with jigs and reels. You'll learn a dice and card games and enjoy light refreshments in the Great Hall.

Holiday Teas
Thursday through Saturday,
December 18 through 20 at 1:00 pm

Adults and older children are invited to attend the Holiday Tea. During this special event, guests will enjoy a three-tiered tea followed by a viewing of the mansion. Tickets should be purchased at least one week prior to your tea. Seating is communal-style at tables of up to 8.

Music for the Holly Days
with The Moody Street String Band

Sunday, Dec 21 at 3:00 pm
Celebrate the holidays with the these fabulous players! You'll hear traditional tunes from England, Ireland, Scotland and America and sing-a-long to your holiday favorites! Admission is $10, $8 members and ages 5-12. Purchase online at mssb.bpt.me or email events@goreplace.org .

Passes for Concerts at Gore Place may be obtained from the Waltham Public Library and the Watertown Free Public Library thanks to grants from the Waltham and the Watertown Local Cultural Councils.
