Monday, October 9, 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.
We’re offering three great activities for families this Columbus Day; Zoom-In on Gore Place, Nature Playscape Activities, and Totally Touchable Tours.
We’re also adding activities at the Grove included with your Zoom In or Tour ticket.
We’ll have several nature-related open-ended invitations to play in our Nature Playscape from nature building to leaf mandalas.
Zoom In on Gore Place – There are lots of things to see on Gore Place’s 50 acres – big and small. Visitors are invited to find the big things with only small clues to go by. Some objects will be easy to find and others require a closer look. Everyone (big and small) will have fun playing the game! If you’ve done this before, you should know that we have 3 versions of the game. Appropriate for all ages. $5 per group. No reservations necessary. Free for Household Level and up Members.
Totally Touchable Tour
– “Look but don’t touch” is the rule at most house museums which can be a challenge for many children (and some adults!). Enjoy the beautiful 1806 Gore mansion while touching select items, some old, some new, placed in every room giving visitors a hands-on experience of life on an early 1800s country estate. Tickets are just $5 per person all ages. Free for Household Level and up Members. Space is limited. Advanced tickets may be purchased at touchable-tours.bpt.me
